Joshua Cuby
Founding Partner

Joshua’s has worked for a decade in strategic branding and health & wellness related businesses. His entrepreneurial journey continued with cannabis after successfully treating his father with oils for severe back trauma.

Growing up in the South of Spain, he studied the plant before moving to the UK to establish a health and wellness media company Balance Media with his brother and sister in 2015.

In 2017, Gabriel and Joshua developed Re+CBD a health and wellness shot to bring together two intersecting markets. 

Medical cannabis has always been the focus for the NICE Partners and Joshua takes great pride in aiding the growth and access of medical cannabis to the doctors and patients who can benefit from Cannabis derived medicines.  

Gabriel Newman
Founding Partner

Gabriel has operated in multiple managerial roles in the technology industry. His first notable role was at the height of mobile app downloads in 2011, Gabriel served as the Commercial Manager of an international mobile app development company with offices in London, Alberta, Manilla and Hong Kong. Prior to his roles within the cannabis industry, Gabriel spent 5 years working in product innovation at a leading RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology company. After excelling in roles as Product Manager and Project Manager, he was promoted to the Senior Project Director. Gabriel led his team to develop and implement bespoke solutions to enhance the consumer's shopping experience in retail environments with the use of IoT (Internet of Things).

Gabriel’s passion for cannabis is fuelled by witnessing the medical benefits of cannabis first hand. Cannabis extracts were used to improve his brother’s quality of life during an 12 month battle with cancer. Throughout his treatment, healthcare professionals were astounded by the remarkable effects on his blood levels during chemotherapy. It is Gabriel’s mission to ensure that cannabinoid therapies are widely available to all suffering patients who have exhausted all other methods of treatment.

Niall Ivers
Founding Partner

Niall was an early investor in Cannabis stocks back in 2014. Niall is passionate about bringing medical Cannabis to patients, clinical trials and research & development, and has a firm belief that the evolution of Cannabis as a plant can bring about positive social change.

Niall started his career in real estate development and investment where for over 10 years he successfully put together complex global deals. Niall is also a trained yoga instructor and has been known to teach the Wim Hoff method. 

Benjy Cuby
Founding Partner

Benjy is CEO at Finsbury Trust, a leading provider of corporate, trust and fund services in Gibraltar. Benjy has over a decade experience in investment banking at UBS and Credit Suisse in New York, London and Tel Aviv. During his time in banking, Benjy specialised in originating and executing cross-border mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance assignments across a range of innovation industries.

Prior to this Benjy was a business consultant at Arthur Andersen’s Business Consulting Division in London where he completed financial and business consultancy engagements specialising in strategic planning, business development and valuation. Benjy received his BSc in Economics, specialising in Accounting & Finance, from the London School of Economics and his MBA specialising in Finance from Columbia Business School.
